A. The technique I use to create my flannel board figures is taught by Judy Sierra in her book:

In her book, Judy Sierra, calls this technique: felt collage flannel board figures. Flannel figures are double felted. The back is usually in black. The front of the figure is then cut out of colored felt and patterned lines are also cut out. This creates a stained glass effect.
