Flannel This ! Sneak Peak Preview !

Hi Everyone !

Today you are invited to a Special Sneak Peak Preview of my Flannel This ! video which was created for the upcoming Connecticut Library Association Conference on May 8, 2012

My colleague, Jane Breen, and I are co-presenting at this year's annual conference which will be held in Mystic, Connecticut in 2 weeks !!!!

Our presentation, Flannel This ! Puppet That !, will explore felt boards and puppetry and how to use these wonderful tools to enhance your storytimes.

Cheers!

Special thanks to Judy Sierra

Special thanks to Melissa Depper, Flannel Friday, and Twitter for inspiring me to share my flannel collections.

  1. Very well done! You included so many awesome ideas that my head is spinning. Lol! I will be back to watch it again so that I can be sure I got all your wonderful tips. I especially love the idea of using the stiff black felt. I am hoping it is not too expensive because I have lots of things I want to back with it. Guess I'll need to start collecting JoAnn's coupons! ;-)

    1. Hi! Yes, stiffened felt is slightly more than acrylic. I like the stiff felt much better. I try to use it whenever I can. Thanks for your wonderful feedback!

    1. Your welcome! Let me know if you need help! I have been creating my flannel pieces this way since the nineties! (which is the olden days for me) and I really believe in this technique. Thank you for your feedback.

  5. Thanks so much this is great -I have watched it numerous times and love the felt collage method. After teaching preschool for over 25 years I'm in the process of remaking some of my favourite stories as well as looking for new inspiration. I love your blog and look forward to reading it each week as well as Flannel Friday. Please do more videos - you are so calm being recorded. Well done!!!!
